The objectives of the Centre are to:

• be recognised as a world-class centre for education and research in group theory, combinatorics and computation
• promote national and international collaborations in mathematics
• support and complement the disciplines of Mathematics and Theoretical Computer Science at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels
• extend commitment to mathematical outreach at all levels – to schools, the general community, professional societies, the mathematical and mathematics education communities, and especially to enthuse school children to enroll to study mathematics at UWA.
